1. Overview

Orynell (“Orynell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of Realized Wonder LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Orynell mobile application (the “App”).

Orynell performs astronomical, astrological, numerological, and related calculations based on birth and profile information that you provide. At launch, Orynell focuses on calculated natal profile outputs across multiple traditions. Future or optional features may include additional calculations, compatibility features, daily or transit-based features, connection or messaging features, notifications, paid features, and automated or AI-assisted content if and when we make those features available.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising. At launch, Orynell does not use third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.

2. Eligibility and Children's Privacy

Orynell is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Orynell is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, or below the age required to consent to the processing of personal information in your jurisdiction, you should use Orynell only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We may ask for your date of birth or age information before account creation to confirm whether you are eligible to use Orynell. We use this eligibility information to help determine whether an account may be created and to support compliance with age-related requirements.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide

  • Account information. When you create an Orynell account, we collect your email address and the unique username you choose.
  • Eligibility information. We may collect your date of birth or age information before account creation to confirm whether you are eligible to use Orynell.
  • Birth data. To calculate your Orynell profile, we collect your birth date, birth time, and birth place. This data is required for the App's core calculations.
  • Optional calculation inputs. You may choose to provide your full name at birth for calculations that depend on name-based inputs, and gender at birth for calculations that depend on that input. These inputs are optional. If you decline to provide an optional input, the calculations that depend on it may not be available, but you can continue to use the App's other available features.
  • Support communications. When you contact us through the App or the support page on our website, we receive the information you provide in your message, including your email address.

3.2 Information generated by your use

  • Computed results. When Orynell performs calculations based on your birth and profile data, we store the resulting calculated profile data so you can view it across sessions and so the App can function.
  • Future or optional feature data. If future features such as compatibility, daily transits, notifications, connection or messaging features, paid features, or AI-assisted features become available, and if you choose to use them, we may collect and store the information needed to provide those features.
  • Safety and moderation information. If reporting, blocking, messaging, connection, or other safety features are available, we may process reports, relevant content, account information, and technical information when needed to enforce our Terms, investigate abuse, protect users, maintain security, or comply with law.

3.3 Information collected automatically

  • Usage and technical data. We may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, server logs, and authentication or security events. We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve the App.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, authenticate, and manage your account;
  • Confirm eligibility to use the App;
  • Perform the calculations you request across available traditions;
  • Store calculation results so you can view them across sessions;
  • Provide, maintain, secure, debug, and improve the App;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, safety, and security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

If and when optional features are available, we may also use information to provide features you choose to use, such as compatibility calculations, connection or messaging features, push notifications, purchases or subscriptions, or automated and AI-assisted content.

We do not make your birth data, optional calculation inputs, computed results, or messages public. If Orynell offers connection, compatibility, messaging, or other social features, information is shared with another user only when you choose to connect, message, or use that feature, and only as needed to provide that feature.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only as described in this Policy or as required by law:

  • Service providers. We use third-party providers to host data, authenticate users, deliver email or verification messages, process support requests, and operate the App. These providers process information on our behalf under contract.
  • User-directed sharing. If connection, compatibility, messaging, or other social features are available, we share information with other users only when you choose to use those features and only as needed to provide them.
  • Safety and legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, safety, security, or property.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following categories of third-party services to operate Orynell:

  • Cloud hosting, database, authentication, and server-side computation — for storing and serving data, authenticating users, and performing calculations.
  • Email and verification services — to send account verification or sign-in messages.
  • Support request processing — to receive, route, and respond to support, feedback, bug report, and data deletion requests.
  • Reference data services — for city, country, timezone, and location-reference lookups needed for onboarding and calculations.
  • Push notification delivery — if you choose to enable push notifications, we may use Apple Push Notification service (APNs), Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), or related services to deliver notifications to your device.
  • Payment processing — if Orynell offers paid features, purchases, or subscriptions, payment and subscription processing may be handled by Apple, Google, or another payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Automated or AI-assisted processing providers — if Orynell offers automated or AI-assisted features, we may use service providers to help generate, organize, or personalize content. We will describe material third-party AI processing in this Policy when those features are available.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of these services.

7. Automated and AI-Assisted Features

If you use automated or AI-assisted features, we may process the inputs you provide and relevant account, profile, birth, calculation, and feature-use data to generate, organize, summarize, or personalize astrology-related content. Automated or AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for your circumstances.

We do not use your private birth data, optional calculation inputs, computed results, or messages for targeted advertising.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's features. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data — including your birth data, optional calculation inputs, computed results, connections, and messages where applicable — except where we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, or moderation purposes.

Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, payment records, fraud prevention records, or safety and moderation records where necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or protection of users.

You can delete your account at any time through the App's Settings, or by contacting us as described in Section 13. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls on stored data, and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information;
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data;
  • Portability — request a machine-readable copy of your data;
  • Restriction and objection — request that we limit or stop certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for processing based on consent at any time.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described above, including the right to know, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold about you, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

11. International Data Transfers

Orynell is available worldwide, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and provide notice within the App or by other reasonable means when required. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
